Russia, China agree to boost trade to 100 bln dlrs by 2015

MOSCOW (Itar-Tass) - The Russian and Chinese presidents,
Dmitry Medvedev and Hu Jintao, have agreed to increase bilateral trade
between the two countries to 100 billion dollars by 2015 and to 200
billion dollars by the year 2020.
This was said in a joint statement approved by the two leaders in
connection with the tenth anniversary of the Good-Neighbourly Treaty of
Friendship and Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's
Republic of China.
The document notes that Medvedev and Hu Jintao "agreed to create
necessary conditions in the trade sphere for increasing the amount of
bilateral trade to 100 billion dollars by 2015 and to 200 billion dollars
by 2020".
The declaration also notes that they agreed to "update the mechanism
of organizing and holding Russian-Chinese investment forums, actively
implement the investment cooperation plan and steadily increase the
amounts of mutual investments".
