PM NAJIB URGES FATHERS TO CONTINUE NURTURING CHILDREN TO BE GREAT PARENTS, MALAYSIANS

KUALA LUMPUR, June 18 (Bernama) -- In conjunction with Father's Day
Sunday, Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak said he hoped Malaysian
fathers would continue nurturing their children to be great parents and
Malaysians.

"This Father's Day I would like to reflect on the transforming role of the
father in the family.

"Today more fathers are balancing their professional and
parenting roles.

"I hope that as a father, I have done my best for my children. To all
fathers, continue nurturing the future of our nation, and equip them with skills
they need to be great parents and Malaysians. Salam 1Malaysia!," Najib wrote in
his Father's Day message on his Facebook page.

He also sent out his Father's Day mesage through the short-messaging system
(SMS).
