Yanukovich is for organising joint ventures with China in Ukraine

KIEV, June 20 (Itar-Tass) -- Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovich
sees promising future for organisation of joint ventures with China in
Ukraine.
"I see promising future for activation of cooperation with China in
organisation in Ukraine of joint ventures to re-export their products to
third countries," he said during negotiations with China's Head of State
Hu Jintao on Monday.
Ukraine and China should unite their efforts of central state and
commercial banks, which are interested in cooperation. Kiev is ready to
suggest to Chinese banks opening branches in Ukraine and expects Beijing
to follow suit.
"I suggest ordering co-chairs of the commission on cooperation between
Ukraine and China to work out options for further improvement of
cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres," Yanukovich said.
