Prince Andrew to visit S. Korea this month

SEOUL, Sept. 11 (Yonhap) -- Britain's Prince Andrew will visit South Korea later this month to promote trade and investment ties, the British Embassy here said Thursday.

The Duke of York, who is fourth in line to the British throne, is scheduled to
arrive here on Sept. 29 for a weeklong stay, it said.

He plans to travel to Seoul and Busan, the country's largest port city, according
to the embassy.

"Prince Andrew will visit South Korea as the British government's special
envoy on trade and investment," the embassy said in a press release.
"He is scheduled to meet with business leaders and senior government
officials."

He also plans to attend a seminar on climate change, it added.

It will be his third visit to South Korea following the previous ones in 2001 and
2005.
