TEHRAN (FNA)- France and the United Arab Emirates' incoming ambassadors to Tehran submitted copies of their credentials to Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi on Wednesday, where the two envoys underlined their countries' strong willingness to boost ties and cooperation with Iran.
"Expansion of UAE's ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran sets a priority for the country's foreign policy and Abu Dhabi will not heed the hostile statements of certain foreign parties," Seifi Mohammad bin Abid al-Za'abi told at the meeting with Salehi on Wednesday.
The Iranian minister, too, said that expansion of relations with the neighboring states is a priority in Iran's foreign policy, and called on both sides to boost their efforts to pave more grounds for expanding their relations.
