Ukraine, Jordan to cooperate in energy, hi-tech.

KIEV, June 23 (Itar-Tass) -- Ukraine and Jordan will develop active
cooperation in the spheres of energy, aircraft building, shipbuilding,
transport, high technologies and in the military-technical sector.
"I suggest ordering our governments to study thoroughly options for
deep cooperation in these promising directions and to choose projects for
mutual implementation," Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovich said.
Ukraine is ready for pragmatic and mutually advantageous cooperation with
Jordan. "It is very positive that we start a dialogue, which will raise
our political relations, will give new opportunities for growth of the
economy and better life for our people."
Jordan's King Abdullah expressed hope that his visit to Ukraine will
favour development of personal relations between leaders of the two
countries and expanding interstate contacts.
"We have many opportunities for improvement of our economic, political
and social connections," he said.
