Croatia likely to join EU in 2013.

BRUSSELS, June 24 (Itar-Tass) -- European Union leaders agreed to
complete negotiations with Croatia on its accession to the EU, a European
diplomatic source told Tass on Thursday at the anti-crisis summit that
opened in the Belgian capital.
"There is an understanding on the completion of talks with Croatia,"
the diplomat said.
It means the negotiations will be completed by the end of June and an
agreement on Croatia's accession to the EU is likely to come by the end of
the year. All the 27 EU nations will have to ratify it by July 1, 2013.
So far it is unclear how the demand of Paris regarding the mechanism
to monitor anti-corruption fight in Croatia will be fulfilled.
