Iran's President Calls Terrorism "Common Concern" of All Nations

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday described terrorism as a common challenge for all the world nations, and called for a global will to fight and uproot this devilish phenomenon.
Addressing the opening session of the International Conference on Global Fight against Terrorism here in Tehran today, President Ahmadinejad said dimensions of terrorism have grown so much that its harms are not easily repaired and compensated now.

"The security of all nations and states is threatened by this phenomenon," he underlined, and added, "The issue of terrorism is a common concern for all countries now."

President Ahmadinejad further said that proper fight against terrorism needs a joint global understanding and determination.

Reminding that "Iran is itself a victim of terrorism", Ahmadinejad voiced Tehran's preparedness to "side with all independent nations and governments and all freedom and justice-seeking states in this sacred campaign against terrorists".
