Salehi to Take Part in OIC Council of Foreign Ministers Late June

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi is scheduled to visit Astana, Kazakhstan, later this month in a bid to participate in the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC).
The 38th Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC is due to be held in Astana on June 28-30.

According to Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry, over 1,000 participants from 61 countries and over 70 international organizations will partake in the event.

Salehi will lead the Iranian delegation in the meeting.

The Iranian minister is scheduled to hold separate meeting with a number of his counterparts and officials on the sidelines of the meeting in a bid to consult on bilateral, regional ad international developments.
