OMAN AIR WINS WORLD'S BEST BUSINESS CLASS AIRLINE SEAT AWARD
KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) - Oman Air, the flagship carrier of the
Sultanate of Oman, has won the "World's Best Business Class Airline Seat Award"
in the 2011 World Airline Award based on the views of nearly 20 million air
passengers.
Its chief executive officer Peter Hill said the airline was delighted that
Oman Air has been named as the winner in the Best Business Class Seat
category of the World Airline Awards which are the most prestigious accolades
available within the global airline industry.
Singapore Airlines was second and Qatar Airways third.
The 10-month survey was made by Skytrax, comprising renowned independent
airline experts, through the standards across nearly 40 different items of
airline frontline products and services.
From check-in to boarding, onboard seat comfort and cabin cleanliness to
food and beverages, in-flight entertainment to staff service.
