Vientiane, Hanoi set to boost judicial ties
(KPL) The Hanoi People’s Court (HPC) and the Vientiane People’s Court (VPC) have agreed to promote stronger cooperation, especially in raising professional knowledge of judicial staff in the future.
The agreement was reached at a working session between the HPC delegation led by Tribunal President Nguyen Son and his counterpart Leuxong Thongveun in the Lao capital city of Vientiane, on June 23.
The same day, Mayor of Vientiane Soukanh Mahalath asked HPC to continue supporting to VPC, especially in the field of training, as well as the provision of necessary equipment to promote efficiency of its operation in an increasingly modern and timely manner.
The HPC delegation visit lasted from June 21 to 26.
