Nazarbayev calls for common anti-drug approaches of OIC member states.

ASTANA, June 28 (Itar-Tass) - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan
Nazarbayev on Tuesday called on member countries of the Organization of
the Islamic Conference (OIC) to work out common approaches to the fight
against terrorism.
"International terrorism poses a serious threat to the Moslem world,
and we must work out common approaches to counteract this evil," he told
the 38th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers.
In his words, the organization makes poor use of "its possibilities to
fight the drug industry in order to help the Afghan people." In his
connections, he proposed to set up a working group "to tackle issues of
assistance to that country."
