ASTANA, June 28 (Itar-Tass) -- The Organisation of the Islamic
Conference changes its name to the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation.
The decision was made on Tuesday over the 38th session of the
organisation's Council of foreign ministers.
"I declare the resolution to change the name and to have a new emblem
of the organisation," Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister and Chairman of the
organisation Erzhan Kazykhanov said.
