MAE NAMED TOP AIRLINE AFFILIATED MRO
KUALA LUMPUR, June 29 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Aerospace Engineering (MAE) has
been acknowledged as the top airline affiliated Maintenance and Repair
Organisation (MRO) in the world by Aviation Week's Overhaul & Maintenance
magazine.
The globally reputed Mc Graw Hill monthly publication also ranked MAE 3rd
among the top 10 Airframe MRO in the world, Malaysia Airlines said in a
statement Wednesday.
MAE is Malaysia Airlines' engineering subsidiary.
The national carrier also said its monthly in-flight magazine "Going Places"
scooped the Award of Excellence for the magazine category at the KL Mayor
Tourism Awards 2011 last week.
