Railway traffic in East-Siberian region fully restored after Sat
ULAN-UDE (Itar-Tass) - Traffic has been fully restored at a
section of the famous Trans-Siberian railway in the East-Siberian region
of Buryatia after a many-hours-long halt that was caused by derailment of
25 coaches of two cargo trains.
"The passenger trains No. 43 from Khabarovsk to Moscow, No. 78 from
Novosibirsk to Neryungri, No. 350 from Blagoveshchensk to Moscow, No. 77
from Neryungri to Novosibirsk, and No. 44 from Moscow to Khabarovsk that
were heavily behind the schedule are now moving along a specialized top
priority schedule, which will make it possible to them the bridge the gap
/between the schedule and the actual arrival to the stations of
destination -- Itar-Tass/."
The twenty-five coaches from two cargo trains slid off the track
Saturday between the stations of Onokhoi and Taltsi Saturday, causing no
damage or destrution.
Authorities say the accident did not pose any damage to the ecology.
