NEC ASIA ESTABLISHES COMPETENCY CENTRE FOR DISPLAY SOLUTIONS

SINGAPORE, July 4 (Bernama) -- NEC Asia Pacific, a wholly owned subsidiary
of NEC Corporation, announced Monday the establishment of its Asia Pacific
Display Solutions Competency Centre (DSCC) here on July 1.

Vincent Koh, who is currently the Vice President of the Multi Media
Platforms Business Unit in NEC APAC, will spearhead the operations of the
centre.

"NEC's display solutions and products are known for its quality and
reliability, testified by the numerous awards and accolades our products have
garnered over the years.

"We hope to achieve greater synergy with other NEC companies in this region
as well as our channel partners and distributors who are an extension of NEC in
the display solutions community," he said when announcing the establishment of
the centre in a statement Monday.

Starting with Indonesia and India, the APAC DSCC will have its product
experts share technical, customer service support and marketing expertise with
the display solutions business communities in these countries, to drive greater
momentum in sales.
