Commerce Ministry, Presidential Scientific Department Ink Agreement on Hi-Tech
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Iranian commerce ministry and the presidential department for science and technology signed a cooperation agreement entitled 'Market Discovery, Commercialization and Export Promotion of Knowledge/Technology-based Goods'.
The agreement which includes eight main issues highlights 10 cooperation areas like accessing new markets, stabilization and development of high-tech products export particularly in the Islamic countries, presentation of scientific/technological achievements, knowledge-based products and services, exploiting the existing potentials, etc.
The agreement was endorsed during a ceremony attended by Iranian Commerce Minister Mehdi Qazanfari and Vice-President for Science and Technology Nasrin Soltankhah.
Prior to the endorsement of the agreement, Deputy Minister of Commerce Hamid Safdel addressed the audience on the significance and preparation process of the agreement as well as ways to promote such cooperation.
The four-year-long agreement will be extended if assessments ensure its efficiency.
