Turkish police seize 82 kg heroin, 500 grams of cocaine in four provinces

ANTALYA (A.A) - July 6, 2011 - Turkish police confiscated 82 kilograms of heroin and 500 grams of cocaine in synchronous operations in four provinces on Wednesday.
Police followed a crime gang for five months, and launched synchronous operations on 21 different places in the southern province of Antalya, Istanbul, Aegean provinces of Izmir and Afyonkarahisar. 
In the operations, police impounded 81 kilograms of heroin and 500 grams of cocaine and detained 17 people.
