MALAYSIAN FM TO ATTEND SOUTHERN SUDAN INDEPENDENCE CEREMONY
KUALA LUMPUR, July 8 (Bernama) -- Foreign Minister of Malaysia Anifah Aman
is scheduled to make a working visit to Juba, Southern Sudan on Saturday, to
represent Malaysia at the Southern Sudan Independence Ceremony.
"He is expected to meet Southern Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit and
congratulate the latter on the birth of new state of Southern Sudan on that
auspicious day," the statement said.
Anifah will be accompanied by the Ambassador of Malaysia to Sudan and
officials from the Foreign Ministry.
