Kudrin in London to prepare Cameron's visit, discuss IFC
LONDOIN, July 8 (Itar-Tass) -- Russian Deputy Prime Minister and
Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin will on Friday discuss preparations for the
visit of British Prime Minister David Cameron to Russia this year as well
as plans to develop Moscow into an international financial center.
Kudrin, who co-chairs the bilateral committee on trade and
investments, will meet British co-chair and Business Secretary Vince Cable
to discuss plans for the visit of Cameron to Russia later this year, an
official of the UK Department for Business told Tass.
Kudrin will then meet Michael Bear, the Lord Mayor of the City of
London, to discuss prospects for the creation of the international
financial center in Moscow. Bear co-chairs the Russian-British group on
the IFC in Moscow. The Russian co-chair is Alexander Voloshin.
Kudrin is also scheduled to have a private meeting with his British
counterpart Chancellor George Osborne.
