Neither of 23 Russian tourists hurt in traffic accident in China
KHABAROVSK, July 9 (Itar-Tass) - Neither of the 23 Russian tourists
who were hurt in a traffic accident in China on Friday are in hospital,
all have safely arrived in the city of Heihe near the border with Russia's
Amur region, a sour in the Far Eastern Phoenix travel company, which sent
the group from Blagoveshchensk, told Itar-Tass on Saturday.
"One woman, who had received the most serious injury, was taken from
Heihe to Blagoveshshensk earl on Saturday. The rest are to arrive later in
the day," the source said.
The accident took place early on Friday near the city of Wudaliangchi,
Heilongjiang Province bordering on Russia. The bus with 28 tourists from
Russia's Far Eastern Amur region and Khabarovsk territory was moving along
a wet road when a truck cut in front of it. The bus driver tried to elude
a collision and the bus went off the road. Most of the passengers received
minor injuries and were taken to Wudaliangchi, where they received medical
aid. Several tourists who sustained the more serious injuries refused to
be hospitalized.
Late of Friday, the group arrived in the city of Heihe.
