Search operation at MS Bulgaria wreck site to continue all night
MOSCOW, July 11 (Itar-Tass) -- A search-and-rescue operation at the MS
Bulgaria wreck site will continue all night long in Tatarstan, spokeswoman
for the Ministry of Emergency Situations Irina Andrianova told Itar-Tass
on Sunday.
"Minister of Emergency Situations Sergei Shoigu set the task to
continue the search operation all night long. The equipment is being
placed and the works will continue all night long," she said.
Andrianova noted that 189 people and 28 units of special machinery are
working at the ship wreckage site near Syukeyevo. "The EMERCOM divers
descended to the sunken ship, the motor ship is found, it tilted to right
before sinking," the EMERCOM spokeswoman said. Meanwhile, the rescuers and
divers from the Leader rescue task force and the EMERCOM Tsentrospas task
force rushed to the wreckage site from Moscow and engaged in the
search-and-rescue operation.
