Turkish deputy premier Arinc leaves for Bosnia

ANKARA (A.A) - July 11, 2011 - Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc left for Bosnia-Herzegovina on Monday to take part in ceremonies to commemorate victims of Srebrenica massacre.
Arinc will attend the ceremonies at the Potocari Cemetery, and then visit the tomb of late Bosnian president Alija Izetbegovic.
A total of 8,372 Bosnian people were killed in and around the town of Srebrenica in Bosnia-Herzegovina in July 1995 by units of Serbian army under the command of General Ratko Mladic during the Bosnian War.
Senior officials of several countries, including Croatian President Ivo Josipovic, will attend this year's ceremonies.
Last year, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Serbian President Boris Tadic were in attendance at the commemoration ceremony in Srebrenica.
