SOFIA, July 12 (Itar-Tass) - Thirty-nine children from Russia and
Ukraine were hospitalized with intestinal infection signs in Burgas on
Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, the head of the hospital's infection
department, Kostya Bakardjiev, told a news conference.
Children aged between 10 to 16 years were taken to hospital from Green
Park Hotel located in the resort town of Kiten.
The reasons for mass infection are being examined.
The condition of first patients taken to the hospital on Monday night
is satisfactory, "they are preparing for discharge," the doctor said.
