CLV discuss role in law making for triangle area development

VIENTIANE,JULY.(KPL)- Foreign Affairs Committees of the National Assemblies of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam met on Sunday in Champassak province to discuss the role of the national assemblies of the three countries in law making and human resource development for realizing the triangle area development.
“It is necessary for us to review the master plan on Triangle Area Development of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam to direct objectives and determine the action plans,” said Governor of Champasak province Sonesay Siphandone.
“The conference is very meaningful and necessary as it represents the realisation of commitments and responsibilities of the legislative bodies of the three countries and is a venue where law makers can exchange information and points of view on issues they experience in their respective countries, especially their experience in inspecting and monitoring the enforcement of legal instruments signed by the three countries in their respective countries,” said Vice-President of the National Assembly Saysomphone Phomvihane.
