MoU on stock market development exercised
(KPL) Standing Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Somsavat Lengsavad, received here last Wednesday a working visit of Stock Exchange Market delegation of Thailand, led by its chairman, Mr Pakorn Malakul Na Ayudhya.
Mr Somsavat expressed congratulations a four-day working visit to Laos of the Thai delegation, as a part of contribution and enhancement the exiting relationship and co-operation between Laos and Thailand, which resulted the Memorandum of Understanding between the Bank of Lao PDR and the Stock Exchange Market of Thailand has been signed in July.
Mr Na Ayudhya expressed thanks to SDPM Somsavat for his warm welcome, and informed main working visit to Laos, was to organize the first seminar based on the MoU between the Bank of Lao PDR and the Stock Exchange Market of Thailand relating to the experience on capital market development of Thailand.
The seminar aimed at providing knowledge and understanding on the development of stock market linking to socio-economic development to officials from relevant state sector and businesspeople.
