Malaysian king to visit S. Korea this week

SEOUL, July 17 (Yonhap) -- Malaysian King Mizan Zainal Abidin will visit South Korea later this week to discuss ways to promote economic cooperation and expand bilateral trade, Seoul's presidential office said Sunday. King Mizan plans to make a state visit to South Korea on Tuesday and Wednesday at the invitation of South Korean President Lee Myung-bak, Cheong Wa Dae said, adding the summit is slated for Wednesday. It would be the first trip here by a Malaysian king since Mizan's predecessor visited Seoul in 2001.
