Zardari Urges Cooperation between Neighboring Iranian, Pakistani Provinces
TEHRAN (FNA)- Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari underlined the potentials and capabilities of the Iranian and Pakistani bordering provinces, and stressed Islamabad's eagerness to increase cooperation with Iran's Northeastern Khorassan Razavi province.
Zardari said that Khorassan Razavi province and city of Mashad have plenty of capabilities for development of bilateral cooperation between Iran and Pakistan.
Upon his arrival at Mashad airport, Zardari told reporters that Pakistan is keen to develop ties with the province and the city and considering the capabilities of the province, everything for expansion of cooperation is ready.
President Zardari arrived in Tehran on Saturday afternoon.
He had meetings with Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
