Euro reaches highest value against Turkish Lira
ISTANBUL (A.A) - July 21, 2011 - Euro reached its all-time high, sold at 2.377 Turkish Lira (TL), in Istanbul free market on Thursday.
Euro, which was sold at 2.362 TL on Wednesday, rose to 2.372 TL at the opening.
News about the solution of debt crisis in Greece brought a positive tendency to Euro, and euro/U.S. dollar parity increased to 1.4295. Accordingly, Euro remained over 2.37 TL in Istanbul free market.
As of 10:20 a.m. in Istanbul free market, one Euro was bought at 2.367 TL and sold at 2.377 TL.
Buying price of U.S. dollar is 1.658 TL and selling price is 1.665 TL.
Euro had increased to 2.35 TL at the end of June.
