Married couples have sex 2.9 to 5.5 times a month: poll

SEOUL, July 24 (Yonhap) -- Married couples in South Korea have sex 2.9 to 5.5 times a month depending on the length of their marriage, according to a poll released on Sunday. In the online survey of 456 married men and women by Seoul-based matchmaking company DUO, couples married for less than five years have sex 5.5 times a month, while those married for five to 10 years have sex 4.2 times a month. The frequency decreases to 2.9 times a month for couples married for 10 to 20 years but rises to 3.9 times for those married for over 20 years, according to the poll conducted from June 20 to July 18. It also showed that married couples kiss from 1.1 to 4.8 times a day depending on the length of their marriage, while the number of times they hug ranged from 1.1 to 3.6 times.
