Iran to Hold National Congress on Novel Issues in Agriculture

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Islamic Azad University is due to host a national congress entitled 'New Issues in Agriculture' on November 2, 2011, in a bid to improve and develop agricultural sciences and extend application of novel technologies in the country.
Creation of connection between university lecturers, students, experts and producers of various agricultural devices, introduction of novel technologies and studying their effect on agricultural sciences and studying and learning new agricultural standards based on new methods are among the other objectives of the congress.

The application of nanosciences in agriculture is one of the aspects of the congress. A number of educational workshops on novel methods in agricultural sciences will be held parallel to the congress, too.

Researchers and university students are invited to send their papers to the secretariat of the congress by the end of the working hours on July 6, 2011. The deadline for registration without paper submission is October 7, 2011.
