Top portion of "Weary Herakles" statue to be returned to Turkey, says Culture and Tourism Minister Gunay

ANKARA (A.A) - July 26, 2011 - Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism, Ertugrul Gunay, said that the top portion of the 1,800-year-old "Weary Herakles" statue will be returned to Turkey by the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
Speaking to reporters, Gunay said that the legs and lower torso of the statue was found in Turkey in the 1980s.
This portion is displayed in a museum in the southern province of Antalya.
The top portion of the statue will be returned in about a year.
