Criminal who fired on police post liquidated in Nalchik suburb
NALCHIK, July 27 (Itar-Tass) - A criminal who fired on a police post
in the suburb of Nalchik in the village of Belaya Rechka (White River) on
Tuesday night has been destroyed.
A law enforcement source of the republic told Itar-Tass that "at the
entrance to the Belaya Rechka village police officers stopped a car for an
inspection. A man who was inside opened fire on the policemen and was
killed by return fire," the source said. The killed criminal has been
identified as 33-year-old Arsen Balkarov who was wanted for aiding
militants and for committing terrorist crimes.
