Court sides with mother in child care dispute.

MOSCOW, July 29 (Itar-Tass) - The Moscow City Court on Thursday upheld
the ruling which left the children of former Federation Council member
Vladimir Slutsker in the care of their mother Olga. The court thereby
turned down Slutsker's complaint, who had been seeking to overturn the
ruling on the place of residence of his children.
In the course of the Thursday hearing, representatives of the
plaintiffs and guardianship bodies noted that the court of original
jurisdiction passed "the ruling that violates the rights and opinions of
the children who do not wish to live with their mother."
For her part, Olga Slutsker said she very much wished to live with her
children. "Simply I'm a mother, I just love my children," she told the
court.
"After hearing the opinion of the parties, the court rules to leave
the decision by the Khoroshevsky court unchanged, regarding the place of
residence of the minors Anna and Mikhail Slutsker, and not to meet
Vladimir Slutsker's appeal," the Moscow City Court said in a resolution.
On May 24, Moscow's Khoroshevsky court granted the suit by fitness
centers network president Olga Slutsker over the place of reisdence for
Mikhail and Anna.
At present, the children are staying with their father. Some reports
said they are in Israel.
