Russia harvests 30 mln tons of winter grains.

MOSCOW, July 29 (Itar-Tass) - Russia has brought in 30 million tons of
winter grains, Agriculture Minister Yelena Skrynnik told a meeting of the
government presidium on Thursday.
Skrynnik confirmed the estimates for the grain harvest this year at 85
to 90 million tons.
"As of the morning of July 28, thirty million tons of gains had been
harvested; the Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts will complete
harvesting by the end of this week," she said.
The Krasnodar Territory alone accounted for 10 million tons of grain
harvest.
Farmers in the Central and Volga Federal Districts and the Primorye
Territory have begun harvesting. In the Siberian and Ural Federal
Districts, harvesting will begin from mid-August, the agriculture minister
said.
