IT WAS A LESSON 
After the massacre in Norway, European countries launched an operation against racist associations and parties to which they have turned a blind eye for long years. The massacre staged by Anders Breivik, an enemy of Muslims, incited Europe to take action. Germany, Britain, Poland, Italy and France are raiding extreme rightist parties. Efforts have been launched to close racist associations and parties. Many weapons were seized in operations against these associations. 
European Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malmstrom confessed that it was so normal to accuse Muslims and other immigrants in such incidents due to the political atmosphere in Europe, and said this should change.

FIVE KOC COMPANIES IN TOP TEN INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES
Istanbul Chamber of Industry made public Turkey's giant industrial enterprises. Turkish Oil Refineries Corporation (TUPRAS) was again the leader with 20.8 billion TL of sale. Electricity Production Corporation came the second, Ford Automotive the third, Oyak Renault the fourth, TOFAS the fifth, Arcelik the sixth, and Aygaz the seventh. Thus, Koc Holding had five companies in the top ten industrial enterprises of Turkey.

REQUIREMENTS OF LAWS TO BE DONE IN YAS
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan made striking remarks in his return from Azerbaijan where he paid a formal visit. Erdogan opposed to the comments that Supreme Military Council (YAS) meeting which will start on August 1 would be distressful. "I don't think there will be tension there. It will take place in the most idealist way. The laws regarding the promotion and appointments are open," Erdogan said.

CENTRAL BANK GOVERNOR: THE COURSE IS VERY WELL
Central Bank Governor Erdem Basci made a statement supporting statements of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan who said "the crisis will not hit even slightly this time."
Basci said views of the prime minister regarding the economy was positive and relieved him. He said, "the course is very well in Turkey. The investments recovered. There is not extreme warming in economy."
Basci said Turkey has the capacity to dissociate from from developing countries.

Turkey's Religious Affairs Administration launched initiatives to boost friendship relations in Ramadan. Religious Affairs Department Chief Mehmet Gormez said they started the campaign to share the blessings for the unity of humanity and to establish bridges by disregarding the distances.
Gormez said they would be in an effort to enliven neighborhood relations with the campaign.

DNA results of the youngsters killed by racist Breivik in Utoya island in Norway were made public. Dogan family was once again broke down Turkish girl Gizem Dogan was among those killed.

BASE OF ALBARAKA IS TURKEY
Albaraka Director General Fahrettin Yahsi said they would open the branch of the bank in Irbil in August. Yahsi said, "Turkey will be the base of our activities in the Middle East and the Balkans."
