Pleasure boat collision with barge kills one

Moscow (Itar-Tass) - One person died in the accident of a
private pleasure boat at the Moskva river, law enforcement authorities
said on Sunday.
"As of now, we know about one victim," the source said. "His body was
lifted from the water."
A pleasure boat, the Lastochka, sank on the Moscow River at the
Luzhnetskaya embankment after a collision with a moored barge at 00:58
Moscow time on Sunday.
There were 15 people on board.
"One of them got ashore by himself, other six were rescued, and seven
are still missing," the source said.
Eye witnesses say this part of the Moskva River is lit poorly.
"The navigator must have not seen the barge in the darkness or saw it
too late," the source said.
