Forensics with diving equipment go to site of sunken pleasure boat

MOSCOW (Itar-Tass) - Investigators of the Moscow
interregional transport investigative department have started working at
the site of accident with a pleasure boat sank, spokesman Russia's
Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin said on Sunday.
"Forensics of the RF IC went there," - he said. "They have everything
they may need, including diving equipment."
"According to preliminary data, a private pleasure boat, the Lastochka
/swallow/, at about two o'clock in the morning collided with moored barge
and sank - added Markin. Some of the passengers managed to escape the
boat. One person died, the fate of eight is still unknown.
Meanwhile, law enforcement authorities say that, three dead bodies
were raised at the site of the accident. They are being identified. The
source also noted that on board the boat there were foreign citizens,
several Russians, and the captain - a Russian citizen. The exact number of foreigners is verified.
