Iranian Wrestlers Win Title in Polish Int'l Tournament

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's free-style wrestling team won the title in the XX International Tournament "Ziolkowski", Poland.
The competitions were held in Poznan, Poland on 29-31 July, 2011.
Iran achieved the score of 61 and stood at the first place among 27 participating countries, while Turkey and the host country, Poland, ranked second and third respectively.
Winning two gold and three bronze medals, the Iranian free-style wrestlers clinched the championship title in the event.
The gold medalists included Frdin Masoomi, 120 kg, and Ali-Reza Goodarzi, 84 kg.
Winners of the bronze medals were Farzad Jaafari, Ehsan Amini and Erfan Omidi, in 55, 84 and 96 kg respectively.
