Sofia administrative court suspended revocation of LUKoil Bulgaria

SOFIA, August 2 (Itar-Tass) -- The Administrative Court of Sofia on
Monday suspended the resolution of the country's Customs Agency to revoke
a license from LUKOil Bulgaria.
According to the court's press centre, the court ruled that there are
enough evidence to prove that the halt of the company's refinery would
inflict "significant or unrecoverable damage" on the company, which has
contracts with the Bulgarian Railways and Stolichny Transport Co, and is
the only supplier of aircraft fuels.
The court ruling may be challenged at the Supreme Administrative Court
withi seven days. A trial on the merits is scheduled for August 31.
In an interview with Bulgaria's national radio, the head of the
Customs Agency, Vanyo Tanov, said his agency would challenge the ruling.
Bulgarian customs sealed warehouses of LUKOIL Bulgaria on July 27
under the pretext that the company did not fulfill the demand for
installing remote control sensors. That caused the revocation of the
license and the suspension in the operation of the refinery.
