Ghana Keen to Expand Ties with Iran
TEHRAN (FNA)- Ghana's Defense Minister retired Major General Joseph Smith voiced his country's willingness to strengthen ties with Iran in different fields.
Speaking at a meeting with Tehran's Ambassador to Accra Mohammad Suleimani, Smith stressed that Ghana is eager to use Iran's experiences.
He further called for Tehran-Accra cooperation in educational programs.
The Iranian diplomat, for his part, reiterated Iran's resolve to boost cooperation with African states, Ghana in particular.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's administration has striven hard to maximize relations with the African continent.
Iranian officials have always announced that expanding Tehran's relations with African countries sets a priority for Iran.
