Iran Arrests 4 Individuals in Connection with Gas Pipeline Blast
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran said its security forces have arrested four and killed three elements behind Friday blast in Iran-Turkey gas pipeline.
Governor of Iran's Northwestern city of Maku Hamid Ahmadian said that four individuals involved in Iran-Turkey gas pipeline blast were arrested and 3 others were killed.
"All Iranian police and security forces have been on alert since the bombing on Friday and they did their utmost to capture the elements on Monday," Ahmadian said.
"The group's mastermind named "Jamil" was from Turkey and was killed along with two others," he added.
Meantime, gas flow in the Iran-Turkey pipeline resumed on Saturday afternoon.
The pipeline had capacity of exporting around 30 million cubic meters natural gas daily to Turkey.
