State leaders meet Hanoi high ranking delegation
(KPL) Mr. Thongsing Thamavong, President of the National Assembly and Mr. Bounnhang Vorachit, Vice President of the Lao PDR received respectively at their office in Vientiane yesterday a courtesy visit of high ranking delegation of Hanoi, by Pham Quang Nghi, Politburo member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee.
The Hanoi delegation arrived here on 15 September for three day working visit to Laos as a guest of Vientiane administration.
At the amicable talks, Lao leaders praised and highly valued the visit to Laos of Hanoi delegation as a big contribution to enhance the traditional special relation of friendship and comprehensive co-operation between Laos and Vietnam, particularly between the Vientiane administration and Hanoi.
During stay in Vientiane, the Hanoi delegation also presented US$2 million and 30 set of computer to Vientiane administration.
