7 NCaucasus bus terminals to get security systems--MinTrans
MOSCOW, August 3 (Itar-Tass) - Federal budget resources amounting to
150 million roubles will be allocated this year to equip seven regional
bus terminals with security systems. The money will be also used to
install traffic controlling equipment at 12 Federal roads via which buses
from those terminals ride, a Russian Transport Ministry official told
Rossiiskaya Gazeta.
Such pilot zones are to appear on routes leading from the North
Caucasus to Moscow. Bus terminals in Makhachkala, Nazran, Nalchik,
Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Cherkessk, and Nevinnomyssk are to be provided with
security systems.
The newspaper on Wednesday carries a government decision to give
subsidies in 2011 to constituent entities of the Russian Federation for
arranrgements to ensure the safety of the population using bus services.
The decision specifies rules according to which regions will be able to
receive money, about 20 million roubles each, to equip bus transportation
services with security systems.
