Quake measuring 4.2 recorded on Honshu, third during day

TOKYO, August 7 (Itar-Tass) -- A 4.2-magnitude earthquake has been
recorded on the Pacific coast of Japan's main Honshu Island, north of
Tokyo, this Sunday.
There was no destruction. No tsunami alert was issued, the national
meteorological agency said.
The epicenter was near the coast of the prefecture of Ibaraki, at a
depth of about 50 kilometers under the seabed. The most powerful tremours
were recorded in some areas of the prefectures of Ibaraki, Tochigi, Miyagi
and Fukushima, where the damaged Fukushima-1 nuclear power plant is
located.
During the day, it is the third quake measuring over 4 on the island.
