Larijani's Special Envoy Due in Cairo Tomorrow
TEHRAN (FNA)- Head of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi, who is now in Doha as Iranian Speaker's special envoy, is scheduled to pay a visit to Cairo on Monday to invite Egyptian figures to the upcoming conference to support Palestinian intifada.
An international conference on the Palestinian uprising is scheduled to be held in the Iranian capital city of Tehran on October 1-2.
Boroujerdi is to meet with the Arab League Secretary General Nabil al-Arabi in his coming visit to Egypt.
Boroujerdi headed to Doha on Saturday to submit Iranian Parliament Speaker's message to Speaker of Qatari Advisory Council Mohamed Bin Mubarak al-Kholaifi to invite him for the conference.
Boroujerdi's trip to Qatar came ahead of his visit to Egypt.
Deputy Chairman of parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Mohammad Esmail Kowsari will accompany Boroujerdi in the trip as well.
