UFA, August 8 (Itar-Tass) -- A delegation from Russia's republic of
Bashkortostan lead by head of the republic Rustem Khamitov on Monday
begins a working trip to the Kaluga region in central European Russia to
study its experience in the construction of techno parks, Khamitov's press
secretary Artem Valiyev told Itar-Tass.
"Thanks to the favourable investment climate, the Kaluga region is
actively developing techno parks and industrial automotive clusters,"
Valiyev said. "The delegation will visit a number of industrial
facilities, techno parks, and will meet with Kaluga region governor
Anatoly Artamonov. The republic government wants to use Kaluga region's
experience."
Of particular interest for the delegation of Bashkortostan is the
Grabtsevo techno park, where Volkswagen and Skoda cars are manufactures,
and the Rosva industrial cluster, a venue for future production lines of
such car models as Peugeot, Citroen, and Mitsubishi.
