Dutchman goes missing in N. Korea: Dutch TV

BRUSSELS, Aug. 8 (Yonhap) -- A Dutch stamp collector has not returned from a recent trip to North Korea, prompting his family to report him missing, a Dutch media report said Monday.
Willem van der Bijl from the Dutch city of Utrecht left for the communist state three weeks ago to buy North Korean stamps and propaganda artwork and did not return on July 30 as planned, according to the Dutch broadcaster RTV Utrecht.
The Dutchman, who has previously traveled to North Korea on several occasions for the same purpose, has not been in touch with his family despite being away longer than planned, the report said.
The Dutch foreign ministry is also aware of the situation, but so far has no leads on the man's whereabouts as it has no direct links to the communist state, it added.
