EMERCOM to train rescuers, firemen for South Ossetia - Shoigu

MOSRENTGEN SETTLEMENT (Moscow region), August 9 (Itar-Tass) - The
Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations will train rescuers and firemen
for South Ossetia, emergencies minister Sergei Shoigu said on Monday.
Besides, Shoigu said that the ministry was ready to help South Ossetia
with hardware. He also believes that South Ossetia must work to set up
supervision agencies, work on national legislation in the sphere of
prevention and liquidation of emergency situations as well as fire
security.
"They don't have such laws so far. I believe this must be done," the
Russian minister stressed.
