Turkish central bank revises year-end current deficit figure up at $70.7 bln


ANKARA (A.A) - August 8, 2011 - A survey of expectations of Turkish Central Bank has put year-end current deficit figure at 70.7 billion U.S. dollars.     
The Central Bank said on Monday its survey for the first half of August saw the figure up from 68 billion U.S. dollars according to a previous survey.     
The bank said year-end inflation was expected to be at 7.19 percent, stating that the figure was 7.33 percent in the previous survey.     
According to the survey, year-end growth rate stands at 6.1 percent.
